Kelly Jansen
This week’s journal, Kelly Jansen – Consultant
Every week a board member or consultant will talk you through a small biography, and more importantly, a little insight into their life, what parts of their agenda are devoted to time and what parts aren’t.
This week it is my time to tell you something about my life of a consultant of TIME. My name is Kelly Jansen and I’m 22 years old. I’m born and raised in the south of the Netherlands in a small village called Galder. This village is near Breda, so this is also the city where I’ve spend a lot of time. I’m a real ‘ Brabander’ and I don’t think I will ever leave this part of the Netherlands. After High School I started my bachelor in Business Economics at Avans in Breda. I love Breda and there was no other city where I wanted to study at that moment. During my bachelor I got the opportunity to study abroad for half a year, so I decided to go study in Budapest, all by myself. Something a lot of people around me didn’t expected from me. Living in Budapest was the best experience I ever had so far. I’ve made a lot of international friends with who I’m still in contact with. When I successfully finished my Bachelor Degree I didn’t have the feeling that I was done studying, so I decided to start an academic pre-master in Marketing Management. It was a tough period but completely worth it, because since February I started my Master in Marketing Management, moved to Tilburg and applied for a consultant position at TIME.
I already got enthusiastic about TIME at the beginning of the pre-master since my introduction mentor was an old consultant at TIME. When I spoke with two board members at the introduction day of my Master and heard about the destinations I was convinced. I want to gain more foreign experience and this time also outside of Europe. I cannot wait to conduct research for nice companies with an amazing group of motivated students.
Although, TIME and my studies take a lot of hours during the week, I still have some free time. Then, I like to hang out with friends and have some drinks. And… you can even sometimes find me in the gym.
Currently we are working hard to find the last companies who are as enthusiastic as we are for this project. Want to know more about TIME? Add me on LinkedIn and feel free to ask me anything!
