Margo Koot
This week’s journal, Margo Koot – Consultant
Every week a board member or consultant will talk you through a small biography, and more importantly, a little insight into their life, what parts of their agenda are devoted to time, and what parts aren’t.
This week it’s my turn, and I’ll give you some insights into my life and my role as the consultant of TIME. But first, let me quickly introduce myself!
I am Margo Koot, I am 24 years old and I live in Dongen, a town between Tilburg and Breda. At the moment I am following the Master Business Communication & Digital Media after finishing the premaster. Before my premaster I studied Tourism at the Breda University, formally known as NHTV in Breda. During my study I did a Social Media marketing internship in South Africa which I liked very much and it made me realize I wanted to know more about communication and marketing. Besides studying, I work in the healthcare sector as help in the household. Furthermore, I like to read, do fun stuff with friends and family and travel around.
For me, TIME is a nice addition to my activities because I can gain new experiences and knowledge about business cultures and doing projects for different companies. Besides that, it gives me a new opportunity to get to know people and develop myself as a consultant. Therefore, I am really looking forward to our TIME in Spain and Portugal.
As a consultant, I do the acquisition of companies and conduct the desk and field research for different companies. During the acquisition, you learn a lot about how to communicate with different people in different functions and because the companies are from different industries, it makes the acquisition diverse and interesting.
If you have any questions about being a consultant for TIME or just general question about our organization, you could always send me a message on LinkedIn!
Until next TIME!
